Coming originally from India, mung beans have spread to China and all over South-East Asia and America where they are currently cultivated in large number. They need very high temperatures to grow (around 30 °C) and can be grown together with all types of beans but it seems that they have difficulty to grow near potatoes, onions or garlic.
